Year 9 - The Best Year of My Life

Hi everyone,

Today, I want to talk about the last 10 months at school. In Year 8, I didn't look forward being in Year 9 - even though I didn't like Year 8 as much as I liked Year 9.

I want to reflect on the best moments in Year 9. With my friends and with my teachers. so, without further ado, let's start.

When I started Year 9, it was a very weird feeling that I felt. I would never thought that I'll be able to do all of these things that I've done in the last 10 months - which I'm so grateful about.

One of those things is being a Prefect. This has been the best part in my school life so far. It has impacted me, somehow.

I have never told you anything about my Prefect life/status. This experience has learned me how to be a better person - quite cheesy, tbh.

Last term, we were doing a competition. This was about who can create a whole new idea. And, me and my friends - in my form group - were in a group of 5.  We had an idea of an electronic wardrobe,  which we lost with. They said that the idea was "too complex". And the idea that we lost was... (drumroll, please)... dog boots.

DOG FREAKING BOOTS???

That idea triggered all of the other prefects/contestants - including my teammates.

But, lets leave that anyways.

This was the time when I had to think, what am I going to do with my life. February/March time was the HARDEST - I mean the HARDEST - time of my life.

I had to think of the subjects that I was gonna take for next year, and what am I going to do with them. and I chosen them, in the end.
I chose :

• DT
  

So, yeah! Year 9 has been the best educationally and personally. I'll update you in the future about Year 10.
