What Makes a Special Friendship?

Hey everyone,

You may know Emily - she was mentioned in one of my favourites posts. She is the sweetest, little person, I’ve ever - personally - met, in my life. She’s also my Best Friend, and we’ve been best friends since the beginning of the Academic Year.

So, without further ado, here’s 3 things that make a friendship really special :

1. The texts that you send each other.

From 28/09/16 till 30/12/16, we’ve been writing 2750 messages to each other, on WhatsApp! We’ve been writing, crying, and laughing our heads off, but we never get bored.

We never get bored of each other. We just talk random things, like who would you share a house/apartment with, or something which would never cross your mind.

2. Common Things - things that bond your friendship

The thing that actually bonded our friendship was that I came to England, on her birthday. Her birthday is on 2nd August, and that is the date I came to England, nearly 3 and ½ years ago.
We never actually knew each other till the beginning of this year. So, that is one thing that bonded our friendship.

3. Nicknames - or secret jokes

As every friendship might have a secret joke - or a hand shake - Emily and I thought that we would have a secret joke. I can't say the secret joke, otherwise, the joke wouldn't be secret anymore.
We’ve used it to call ourselves, and everything that would include a secret joke.
