Hi everyone,
Today, I remembered something... This time, last year, my cousin was around for the summer holidays, and we were using my tablet as a "music player". That was a good time. I still do listen to music, but actually on a daily basis.
Some of these songs might actually be a bit old, but who cares...
So, today, I thought that I would do a list of 5 songs/albums that I like, at the moment.
Disclaimer : this is only music that I like, so if you hate/don't like my taste in music - which most people do - then, I suggest that you keep your comments, to yourself.
1. Slow Hands by Niall Horan
When Slow Hands came out, I thought that it would have a different sound than it actually does.
The song has a Pop/Country vibe to it - correct me, if I'm wrong.
I was really happy with This Town, when it was released back in September, last year. I thought to myself, Niall is a very good singer/songwriter, so he'll never disappoint me.
2. Ciao Adios by Anne-Marie
I'm always very bad at explaining things - especially through phone - and I don't really know what to say that I like about this song, because this song is a great bop. It's a - very sassy - goodbye/break-up song - if it's described like that - and I love it.
The first time I heard one of Anne-Marie's songs was last year, when my cousin started playing one of her songs called Alarm, and then later on, in October, when she was in a feature in Rockabye, and at that moment, I fell in love with her vibe.
3. Gateway Drug by Bebe Rexha
The first time I listened to Bebe was when she collaborated with G-Eazy on Me, Myselfand I, in 2015 - damn, that was long ago :O. Then, later on, she released her own music like I Got You, In The Name of Love - with Martin Garrix - and a lot of other music, which I can't remember - which are really good bops. And, her latest - and, think her first album, which I'm gonna talk about later on - is beyond AMAZING.
The song that actually proved that - well, all of the songs do :) - was Gateway Drug.
The track is on her latest albumAll Your Fault: Pt. I, and, honestly, her album is so amazing, and I'm so hyped for the second part of her album, which comes out on August 11th - mark your calendars.
Don't really know what else to say, because I'm speechless. 4. Divide by Ed Sheeran
This album came out on March 3rd... It's August 9th and I still listen to the songs on this album. One of my personal favourites is What Do I Know?, and that's because it has that kind of chilled vibe to it, but it actually talking about the struggles of the world and life, and that's what I like about it.
And last, but by no means, least...5. Down & Dirty by Little Mix
You probably know that I'm a huge fan of the band, and I've been in the fanbase for the last 2 years, which is incredible, and this track is off their recent album Glory Days. I think, that this is their best album yet.
This song has a very good mixing - no pun intended - and beat. I seriously can't describe it. The first time that I listened to the song, I was speechless. I didn't know what to say, because it was so bloody good.
I think that they're working on LM5 at this moment of time. They said that they are in a writing camp. I hope that they can outrun the last album - but I'm sure that they're gonna do it.
And that was the end of the post. Make sure you come back on Friday, for another post :)
