November Favourites

23/12/2016

Hi everyone,
Sorry for not writing in a very big while, as I didn't have the mind to write blog posts, and I was very busy! And, to say sorry, I’ve decided that I’m going to do a series of blog posts in the Christmas Holidays!
As Monday was suppose to be the first day of this, I’ve pushed it a bit back, and decided that I’m going to post it today.
This next blog post was meant to be posted at the beginning of the month, but instead, I had to post it today.
I’m going to be posting my November Favourites today, so here’s 5 things that I’ve used/listened to/watched thoroughly in November, in no particular order.

1. Little Mix - Glory Days (2016)

Little Mix has released their new album on 18th November 2016, and let me tell you how great this album. It’s very sassy, and it’s #TheNewEraOfLittleMix.
My favourite song off the album has to be Power! It’s a very empowering song and I loved it since I first listened to it. And I recommend it to everyone, who like this kind of song.
And to give you a bit of the taste of the album, I’m going to put my favourite 4 songs here on the blog - including “Power” - in no particular order, in the links.

  1. 2. Films -
  2. Marley and Me (2008)
The Notebook (2004)

In weekends, when the weather was rubbish, I used to go on my tablet and watch some films. Some of the films my friends recommended me were Marley and Me and The Notebook.
Both films made me cry - especially Marley and Me.
Marley and Me is about a couple that just got married. John Grogan (Owen Wilson). and Jenny Grogan (Jennifer Aniston) are from Michigan, and moved to sunny Florida later, after the wedding.
They bought a house, both got new jobs, and then they adopted a very little golden retriever, and they named it Marley - from Bob Marley.
The Notebook is about a poor worker called Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling) and a very rich, young lady called Allie (Rachel McAdams). Allie’s parents weren’t very happy with her relationship with Noah.
They met each other at a fun fair, but after Noah was called off to World War II, they broke up the relationship. Allie went on to be with someone else, while Noah was on his on.
Both films are very good to watch, and I recommend them too.

3. Peter Pan Rehearsals

Since the end of September I have been staying after school for an extra hour, to rehearse the Pantomime that I have been doing last week, for two days.
I’ve always waited for the day to come, for another day of rehearsal.
And just the other week, on 14th and 15th December, I’ve done the Pantomime, and I enjoyed it.
Near to the end of the Academic Year, we are doing “The Wizard Of Oz”. I cannot wait. I’ve got a little post going out today as well, about the Pantomime experience, so watch out for that!

4. Linc Zapp Gel Pen

Mum actually told me to buy this pen, and I actually thank her for this, because this is a pen that is actually smooth to write with. Here’s a Boomerang I’ve done, when I wrote the longest essay, in my life.
They are not actually that expensive, they are only £1, from PoundLand - and they do sell some very good stuff, too. So, I recommend them for you to but these.
And finally...

5. Nike Air Max Ivo - Black and White

I have actually been wearing these since the start of October, but I didn’t have time to actually mention it in one of my Favourites posts. They were quite pricey, not gonna lie - just about £80 plus another coat, which costed another £27, which is the most I've spent in clothes for.
I have a question : why do shoes, or any other item of clothing, have to be that expensive?

And, that’s it! Make sure you tune in later today, as I have another 2 posts going up at 2:30pm and 6:00pm! See you then!
