I've Got A Part in a Pantomime

Today was a very unexpected day. Today was the audition results - from last night. The thing is that no one told me about the auditions being yesterday. And as you might probably know, I had a doctor’s appointment at the hospital. They were after school. Some of them were very happy about their roles, some of them weren't. I was very happy about what I got, even though I didn't do the audition, the night before. But, first let me tell you about the play!

The pantomime that we are doing this Christmas is… Peter Pan. And the character that I’m playing is Cubby, which is a part of the Lost Boys.

The truth is that this is the 3rd time that I’ve done a play, that I didn't know the plot at all - the last 2 time being “Bugsy Malone”.

I don't actually know when I’m going to be doing the pantomime, but I know it's just before Christmas!

It’s so weird doing a production for the 3rd time. I've never really liked Drama, but since Year 8, it has been the most wonderful subject. There are so many ways to explain it. The thing is that you can express your feelings through many ways : being in a play - or even a play that you created with your mates - or by making face expressions (being sad, happy, dramatic, etc.)

The rehearsals start next Tuesday, every Tuesday . So that means, I have to miss the week after, because I’ve got an appointment - again - with my doctor, at the hospital.
