Happy 1 Year Anniversary Blog

Hi everyone,

On Sunday 10th April 2016, I published my blog. And today, as I’m posting this, it’s exactly a year. I can’t believe how a year has just gone by. And, to celebrate 365 days of the blog, here are the best 5 moments of the blog.

Just to give you like a little #ThrowbackThursday - even though as I post this, it’s Monday - I’ll put the links after each reason.

1. The Time when I’ve hit 1000 views

It has taken me about 4 months to actually hit 1000 views, which is very good for my standard. The thing is that I love my blog - and I’ll always will - but to see that I don't have any comments on my posts makes me think that I don't have anyone that actually reads my posts, and it puts me into a bad mood.

But to see that I have that many views - currently 4041 views, which is beyond what I’ve expected - I have to say that I’m very relieved about it.

2. The Time I posted my first ever blog post

A year today, I posted my very first blog post. It was a very little introduction to myself, onto the blog, and my background.

3. The Time I added a new section to the blog

On 11th June 2016, I announced that I was going to add a new section to the blog called Book Reviews.
Even to this day, I write Book Reviews because I like doing them. It makes me think about what actually happened in the book, after I’ve read it.

I’ve added this new section, in the blog, because as you know, I’ve signed up to go to a Grammar school, taken the 13+ test, and failed twice at it. And the thing the Admission lady said was “Read anything.”

As that person I am, I only read a little bit off Google Play Books - as I was using a HTC One at the time.

4. The Time I’ve written the longest post to date

You probably know I try to make the post very enjoyable and very short. But when there’s a time when I have to write everything in more detail - like in February, when I wrote the December 2016/January 2017 favourites post.

And to be honest, I do like to write these, because 1. They take up my time very much, and that means I’m actually doing something, and 2. it’s very therapeutic for me.

And finally...

5. The Time I reflected on my best year of my life

2016 was the best year of my life, and on the last day of the year, I’ve reflected back onto the 366 days of the year.

Honestly, it was a very good year for some of us, and a really bad year for others - it was bit of both for me - and I hope that 2017 is going to beat last year.
