Hi everyone,
This is the longest I've ever stayed to not write a favorites post - last one being in February. So, I thought, I'll do the longest blog post - probably - of all time.
I'm gonna list all the favourites - well, most of them - from March, until now ... July 2017
So, without further ado, let's start the post :)
1. Girl Online: On Tour by Zoe Sugg
I brought this book at the start of April and finished it within 4-5 days. This book is - probably - the best book of the series, so far. I know that I haven't read the third book yet - I'm just waiting for the paperback version to come out - but we'll see.
This wouldn't be the sort of book that a guy, like myself, would read. But, if you actually read it, you will love it within the first chapters.
I have a Book Review about this book here, if you wanna check it out.
2. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling - 20th Anniversary Edition
This wouldn't be the sort of book - or genre - that I'd go for, tbh. But I thought that I would give something else a try, which was a brilliant idea.
This is quite surprising to me, that I have 2 books in my favourites post :)
I never read that much, tbh. I've never been a book worm - which, ironically, I have a certificate that I won, in Year 6.
I still haven't finished. I got to chapter 12, and it has 17. It is a very good. In do recommend it.
In case you didn't know, I did a Book Review for this book, too, here . 3. Original Source - shower gel
There are 2 scents that I've tried before - Blue Ginger and Eucalyptus - and they both smell incredible .
I would recommend you to use both the Blue Ginger and Eucalyptus scent because they both smell incredible and they make your skin smell nice - is that even a real thing, because I know I'm trash...
4. Pinterest
I downloaded Pinterest because one of my friends was on it, and I thought that I would give it a try, and it turns out alright, I guess - but still, my boards/pins are on private, because I have trash stuff on my boards.
I think there's no point, putting the link up for my Pinterest, but if you want to see nothing, then...
5. Nikon Coolpix S3100
This camera has been like a vlogging camera - well, sort of. I wanted to vlog, but the plan kind of flopped.
The camera itself is a good starter to have - if your plan is to become a full-time YouTuber. I'm not trying to sell it, as - probably - I'll have my YouTube channel within months, but I have some kind of anxiety in my gut, that stops me to do it.
I'll talk in more depth about what I want to do, when I leave school, in another blog post.
The camera looks like this...
And I've had this since this May. I haven't been taking a lot of pictures on it - as I don't have that much memory.
The camera can only record 8 minutes at a time, which it is a bit disappointing, but you still can do little clips of your vlog.
I haven't started vlogging or anything - as I haven't had any good content to film - but the main plan is to do little sit-down videos, every once in a while.
I would like a little advice from you all ...
If I was going to start editing my videos - besides Final Cut Pro - what other video editing softwares are there?
I would like your answer in the Comments section below
6. Nike Air - small bag items
I brought this bag a few days before I went to Dover Castle - which was lit ? - because I didn't have anywhere to put my small items.
I didn't want to have a big bag, carrying small items, because, let's be real... who'll have small items - like their phone or their change or bus ticket - in a big bag?
This bag does come in handy, when you need it. For example, when you go and meet up with friends, or when you go on a school trip or a M&G, or something like that.
7. June 2016 weather
I don't have any evidence of this, but towards the end of June, the weather was incredibly hot, and it was a good way to start the Summer Solstice.
I think there was a heatwave from either Africa or Spain - correct me on this - and it lasted about 4-5 days, and we had ridiculous temperatures like 26°C to 28°C, which is ridiculously hot for the UK.
Yesterday was quite reasonable weather, and yeah, what can I say? The UK has outrun my expectations.
8. 13 Reasons Why - Netflix Series
This is a series that I've actually watched, and let me tell you how good and tense this is.
If you don't know what is this about, then I suggest that you watch the video that I provide you with, and the rubbish that I'm gonna speak right now.
This is about a girl called Hannah Baker. She was new to the Liberty High School. She was working at a cinema. But after, she quit the job, and a few hours later, she killed herself, and left behind 13 tapes. Those 13 tapes explain 13 reasons why she killed herself - hence the title.
I have 2 videos to show you what 13 Reasons Why's about.
9. The Fault In Our Stars
I know I'm a bit outdated from seeing this movie, but it was worth the wait.
This film was a truly emotional rollercoaster. Sometimes, I was crying,m. Sometimes, I was laughing, And, sometimes, I had no emotions - whatsoever.
Disclaimer : If you do want to watch it, and haven't seen it, DO NOT read the next paragraph, as it contains spoilers.
This film was the most emotional thing since Marley and Me. I literally cried my eyes out when Gus - played by Ansel Engort - died.
As I really bad at explaining things, I'll put the trailer on, and understand, if you haven't seen it.
And last, but not least...10. Day One Journal
I discovered this app at the end of June, on the App Store. I was like : This looks fancy. I might as well buy it.
This app is actually helping me keeping all the memories, and everything I ever had enjoyed - for example, I went to bowling today - expect a long blog post tomorrow - and about all the struggles I have.
I can't really put a screenshot of what I've wrote, because it has my address on it - which is a bit of a downer.
If you want to have a look on how it is, I suggest you look down below, and download it, because this is a great app, and I recommend it,.
And that's it. The longest post is done. It took me a few days to write this, but this was very worth it. Make sure you check the post out, tomorrow, as I'm gonna explain some things that have been happening in the last few days - which I'm so happy about.
I'll see you tomorrow - bye :)
