Bugsy Malone : What Am I Doing?

2 weeks ago, me and my best friend, Anthony, went to a Drama teacher and asked if we could be in 'Bugsy Malone’. As many of our friends were doing it - a friend from our class being the main Character - we said that we could give it a try. And we did.

Funny enough, I've actually done the Production 3 years ago - as part of my end of Year 6 Play - which was this Production.
I didn't have the same characters as last time. Last performance that I’ve done on the stage - from Upper Site - was my first one EVER!

Last time, I played 3 characters - Pickett, a reporter and a paperboy .
This time, I am in the main cast, playing Fizzy:

Fizzy is a kid, who likes to tap dance and sing. Most of his time, he works at Fat Sam’s Grand Slam speakeasy. He tries to audition for the Grand Slam, but Fat Sam always tells him to “come back tomorrow”. He’s only got some scenes to be in, but I still have to learn lines.

Also, I’m in some scenes, as extras for the songs: Bugsy Malone, Fat Sam’s Grand Slam, My Name is Tallulah, and many more that I can't remember.

Unfortunately, Anthony could not do it because he has Sea Cadets on Wednesday - when we are actually perform our last performance. The Drama teacher decided that Anthony will not perform on any night performances - including the rehearsals at the Upper Site.

But anyway, I think I’m going to be good in the Play!
