Hi everyone, Today, I thought that I would do a Book Review. But, it's only been a week since your last one. I know, I know. But, I need to catch up with the Book Reviews. By now, if I had all of them, I would've been on #31. But, anyways, today, we're reviewing 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher - which now, has been developed into a Netflix series. If you don't already know the story: The book follows a freshman student called Clay Jensen. The book starts when Clay arrives home after school, and receives a very mysterious package. Inside it, there were 7 tapes. Each one, with 2 sides. When he first listens to the tapes, he recognizes a very familiar voice - Hannah Baker. Hannah Baker was a freshman girl, but, unfortunately, she attempted suicide, and killed herself. It's been 2 weeks since her death, but no one knows why she did what she did. Hannah explains in all 7 tapes why she did what she did. But, she had a list, and only these people received the tapes, as they are related to her death - somehow. Clay is also involved in this, but he doesn't know why. This was my 4th YA* novel, and it was very extraordinary. This is very relatable to anybody who has suicidal thoughts, and both the book and the Netflix series show the cases of suicide. If you have suicidal thoughts, please, ask someone for help, because you haven't looked on the bright side of life. Just ask for help. This site is also very helpful. Click here for the website. It will give you all the helplines close to you :) * means Young Adult And, that's it for today. I'll see you next week :)
