Hi everyone, It's that time again, where I have to list my favourites on this blog. Today, I'm listing 7 things that I've been liking throughout August - since my last favourites post - and this month. I can't believe that I already has been 9 months gone of 2017. I must admit, 2017 has gone like a blink of an eye. But, I can't wait to see what 2018 has to give me and you. So, without further ado, let's start the post :) 1. 13 Reasons Why by Jay AsherYou probably know about 13 Reasons Why - both the series and the book. In my case, I'm late to the party, and finished reading the book at the start of the month. The book itself is something quite intrigue, because I've never read this kind of Young Adult - yes, I'm a Young Adult 😂 - before. The series also was very graphic - more towards the end - but had the same perspective as the book I got this from the local library, so it isn't mine, but I'm planning to get, just for keepsake, and probably reading it, of course :) 2. Girl Online: Going Solo by Zoe SuggAnother book that I read this summer was Girl Online: Going Solo. I know, I know, I'm late to the party for this one as well. But, considering that I have the other 2 books in Paperback, I think it's only right to buy the last book in Paperback. After I brought the book, I realized that I had library books as well, so I had to finish those as well. And, before you know it, 13 Reasons Why came to my local library. I've been dying to read that, so, in my mind, I was like: Girl Online can wait, 13 Reasons Why can't - even though I had like 3 weeks to read it. This is, also, a very good YA series to read. I've read the 2nd novel this April, and so far, that's my favourite novel. I said that because while I was reading the book, in my head, I was imagining it as a film - which is a must, if possible - and it had everything that it needed. I feel like the first one is the longest novel, the second is in between, and the last is the shortest. 3. Ramsgate FairAt the end of last month, we had the fair for about 3 days - including when it started . It started on 27th, and finished on 29th. I remember that in 2014, the fair was much longer, and that we actually went one time at night, which was a lot of fun. The only thing that we went on was the bumpy cars, which was a lot of fun, and I've got a story I don't have a picture of a ride, but what I have is a picture of the marina, on the day we went there. 4. Harry Potter fake glassesI bought these fake glasses at the end of August, when we had to do our Back To School shopping. I found these in Primark, and I thought why not. Unfortunately, my brother broke them, which annoyed me, a bit, because I actually liked them. The price was £2, which was a bargain. 5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets/Prisoner of AzkabanBecause we're on the topic of Harry Potter, I thought that I would talk about the films. In the summer holidays, I kind of got addicted to Harry Potter. After I finished the book, I thought that I would give a try to the films. After I watched the first 2 films, I moved on to the rest of the films - sounds normal, and logical. My favourite has to be Philosopher's Stone. That's because when I read the book, the film was just like I imagined, in my head. Towards the end of the summer holidays, I watched Chamber of Secrets and Prizoner of Azkaban. I've said this about a million times and I'm gonna say it again : Try something new everyday, because you never know what might happen :) And that is true. When I bought the book, I told myself that this is something new that I'm trying. I didn't actually read it until I got my phone taken off one time, and I didn't actually have anything to do, so I read instead. So, try anything new :) 6. Tom Gates - book seriesAnother series that I've read this summer was Tom Gates. This has been my favourite series since I was in Year 6. The first book was the first of the series, which explained the character of Tom Gates. This summer, I’ve been reading Yes! No! (Maybe...) and Top of the Class (Nearly) Expect a Book Review on the second book tomorrow 🙌🏼🙌🏼
